Troubleshooting
My products aren't showing on the platform
Work through these in order. Most problems are found in the first three.
1. Is the catalog connected?
On Connections, the platform's card should say Data source "Pin Data Connect" created, or you should have pasted your Data Source URL into the platform. If not, see the connect article for Pinterest, Facebook, Google, or Bing.
2. Has the platform read it yet?
Check last updated on the card. A brand-new data source can take a few hours to a day to be read and processed. Click Sync Now to ask for a fresh read. See Sync Now and update timing.
3. Did the fetch fail?
Open the data source on the platform and look for errors. A login or 401 error means the username or password is wrong; a 403 means the subscription for that platform has ended. See Connection and feed error messages.
4. Are products waiting for review?
Pinterest, Google, and Bing review products before showing them, which can take a few days. Your account itself may also need approval, such as Pinterest merchant approval.
5. Were some products rejected?
The platform lists rejected products with a reason: often an image, a price or availability that doesn't match your website, or a link to a site you haven't claimed or verified. Fix the product in Pin Data Connect and it's picked up on the next read. See Pinterest, Facebook, or Google and Bing catalog problems.
6. Store connected?
Products whose type isn't mapped to a Google category are left out of Pinterest, Facebook, and Google. See Category mapping.
