Troubleshooting

Pinterest catalog problems

Updated

Check your account first

  • You need a Pinterest business account with your website claimed. Every product link must be on that website.
  • Pinterest may also require the Pinterest tag on your site and merchant approval before products show everywhere.

The data source isn't processing

  • Make sure your catalog has at least 5 products: Pinterest rejects empty feeds.
  • If you connected manually, check the URL, username, and password. If you regenerated the password, update it in Pinterest.
  • Check that the data source's currency and country match your Settings.

Products are rejected

  • Image problems: the image link doesn't load or isn't a product photo. See Product image links.
  • Price or availability doesn't match your site: update the product, then Sync Now. Pixels sellers: re-import the artwork.
  • Link not on your claimed site: the Product URL must use your claimed domain.

Products are in the catalog but no product pins

Pinterest creates product pins after processing and review, which can take a few days. To promote them, create product groups. See our guide to product groups and shopping ads.
