Security: your data, passwords, and connected accounts

Your catalog

Your Data Source URL is protected by a username and password, so only the platforms you give them to can download your catalog. If you think the password has been shared, click Regenerate Password on Connections. The old one stops working immediately. See Regenerate your password.

Connected platform accounts

• When you connect Pinterest, Facebook, or Google, you approve access on their own site; we never see your password for those accounts.
• Pin Data Connect uses that access to create and refresh the "Pin Data Connect" data source. Your products are never pushed to the platform; the platform downloads your catalog from your Data Source URL.
• To revoke access, click Disconnect on the platform's card. You can also remove the app in that platform's own account settings.

Connected stores

WooCommerce and PrestaShop keys are stored encrypted and only used to read your products. To revoke access, click Disconnect Store, and delete the key in your store's admin.

Your account

• Use a strong, unique password: at least 12 characters, with upper and lower case letters, a number, and a special character.
• Deleting your account permanently removes it and your catalog data. See Delete your account.
