Is the extension free?
Yes, installing it is free. Submitting a product still requires an active Pin Data Connect subscription for whichever product catalog you're adding to, the same as using the website.
Does the extension work on any website?
It works on any product page - your own store, Pixels Pro, Fine Art America, Dashery, or anywhere else. It reads standard page data (schema.org/JSON-LD, Open Graph tags, and visible images) to pre-fill a title, description, price, image, and product ID, which you review and can edit before submitting.
What if the extension picks the wrong image?
It shows every real image it found on the page as a clickable thumbnail grid, not just one auto-picked guess, so you can choose the correct product photo yourself - or paste a different image URL entirely.
What permissions does it need?
Only activeTab and scripting - it can read a page's content only when you click the extension icon on that tab. It doesn't run in the background, doesn't monitor your browsing, and doesn't read any page unless you actively open it there. Full detail in our Privacy Policy.
Do I need to log in separately in the extension?
No - it uses the same signed session cookie as the website, so it works automatically as long as you're already logged in to Pin Data Connect in that browser. There's no separate extension login or API key.

Does uninstalling the extension delete my products?
No. Uninstalling just stops it from reading any further pages - it doesn't touch product catalog entries you already added, which you can still edit or remove anytime from Manage Feed.
